Abyssal Relic Necklace

The Abyssal Relic Necklace imagines an object from the deepest reaches of Yam Suph. At its centre, a spectral, mermaid-like figure emerges through a skeletal frame of coral-like forms, as though myth had taken shape among the remains of a submerged civilisation.

Fluid spikes curl around her, recalling reef edges and the bones of sea creatures. Their irregular outlines suggest the work of erosion beneath the water, where familiar forms change and acquire another shape. Two textured seashells hang from the necklace, like fragments gathered along the shore of a lost underwater empire.

At the heart of the design lies a baroque pearl, its irregular shape and subtle iridescence echoing the mysterious and untamed beauty of the sea. This pearl is a symbol of the ocean’s vast power and the ancient treasures it guards. The juxtaposition of the smooth, luminescent pearl against the raw, skeletal frame creates a compelling tension between fragility and strength, elegance and decay.
