Oceanveil Mirror

The Oceanveil Mirror opens a view into Yam Suph. Around its surface, sculptural forms recall coral and the remains of sea creatures. Jagged spikes rise along the top of the frame, their organic lines suggesting a current still moving through an object brought to rest.

A mermaid clings to one side. She seems to emerge from the reflective surface, sharing its edge with the face of the person looking in. Her presence carries the beauty and danger of the sirens, and the pull of a submerged world just beyond the reflection.

The mirror’s slight oval sits within this raw, skeletal frame. A small POLEWARD logo, etched onto the reflective surface, marks the present within an object shaped by stories of the sea’s unseen depths.
